Region III Conference Sponsorship

A Message from our Chapter President

The South Carolina Chapter of NOBLE is a subsection of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives “NOBLE”, an organization dedicated to uniting community leaders in their efforts to promote justice, equity, and excellence in policing. Our chapter members organize community service efforts; host social, career, and academic opportunities and events; and represent the State overall in our commitment to advancing the goals of NOBLE while fostering impactful police-community relationships that will extend far beyond our physical reach.

I have the honor and pleasure to serve as the founding President of our South Carolina Chapter, founded on January 26, 2023. The South Carolina Chapter of NOBLE consists of executives from all throughout our illustrious state, with members spanning from the upstate all the way down into our low country-each sharing in the common goals and principles of the nationally structured organization and law enforcements’ core values alike to advance policing overall.

One of our most notable and signature professional development training events is our regional conference. This year we are honored to be actively planning and preparing to host NOBLE’s Regional 3 Training Conference, in Greenville, South Carolina. This training will focus on a steadfast commitment to public safety by and through educating law enforcement executives on innovative policing techniques and community-based initiatives firsthand.

The goal of this conference is for our members to gain valuable insight and innovative ideas that we can bring back to our communities to enhance our policing practices and strategies while strengthening the relationships we have with our external partners and the citizens we serve. By participating in this conference, our members will have the chance to engage and interact with experts in the field, participate in practical workshops, and observe successful programs and policies in action across the nation.

I am writing to ask that you support our chapter by serving as a sponsor for this conference. Your support will not only help us cover the expenses associated with hosting an event of this magnitude, but will also contribute to the development of more effective community engagement methods and practices. As a sponsor, your donation will be tax-deductible, and you will have the opportunity to showcase your commitment to civic work and public safety overall.

I do hope that you will take this opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to public service and creating positive change to build stronger, safer communities together. We sincerely hope that you will consider supporting our chapter in this effort and joining us on this journey towards better policing and community engagement.

If you have any questions or would like to donate, please feel free to contact me by phone at 803-545-3512 or via email at melron.kelly@columbiasc.gov. We look forward to the possibility of partnering with you on this important and critical initiative.
